Diana Arevalos

Diana Arevalos has spent the last 14 years working with children.  She started as a nanny, and seven years later became a preschool teacher.  She enjoys working with children due to their curiosity and their love of learning.  

She is very passionate about what she does and understands there is not a single approach that works for every child in the same way, which is why she continues to educate herself by attending yearly conferences and Early Childhood Education college courses.

Diana has an Associate in Science in Early Childhood Education, an Early Childhood Certification and an Early Childhood Education Teacher Certification.  She is currently working towards getting an Inclusion Support Certificate and her Bachelor’s Degree.  She is also First Aid/CPR/AED certified.

Diana has been teaching the Pre-K Class at WPNS since 2013.  She believes in the philosophy that children learn through play and hands-on experiences.  Her love for children and her dedication is what makes her a great preschool teacher.  She loves to watch young minds unfold day by day and she feels it is a privilege for her to prepare your children for the future.

Diana lives in San Mateo and is fluent in both English and Spanish. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, going to the movies, and reading.
