Where the power of learning is experienced through play!
Woodside Parents' Nursery School (WPNS) is a non-profit parent cooperative overseen by a Board of parent volunteers. WPNS strives to foster a special community that gives parents and children the opportunity to learn, communicate, play, and grow together.
Who is WPNS?
We are a community of families dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate school environment where children and families learn and grow together. Our preschool encompasses learning on social, emotional, intellectual, and physical levels. We value play, experimentation, energy and compassion and we believe that a parent's active involvement in a child's education enriches the child, family and the community.
What is a Co-op?
A cooperative preschool such as WPNS is a private entity operated by its members (the parents of the students), and staffed by professional teachers. WPNS Parents are actively involved in virtually every aspect of the school, sharing their talents and interests in the classroom, on the board of directors, and in serving on various committees.
